Bully Sunday

It's sunny, but very cold today so mom gave us our bullies to chew on this morning. She usually saves them for evening, so they can watch tv in peace, but since we won't be going anywhere again today she let us have them early.

I LOVE my bully sticks and Banjo is learning to love them too.

I hope you get bullies for a treat too! They are so much better than rawhide. A 6" bully will last me about four hours. Banjo chews slower than me so his last him about 6 hours unless I help him. I'm so bad. Hee Hee

That was so much fun to watch you guys chew your bully sticks! I've never been that interested in them, maybe I will try them again...

Hi, Bijou!
There are no bully sticks here in Mexico. But I enjoy watching you two enjoying yours!

No bully sticks in Mexico?!? Oh my, that is not good at all. They are so good. I can not imagine passing the day without a bully to chew on.

I hope one day you get to try a bully stick Lorenza.

I like bully sticks but once the two side have been chewed I never finish the middle so mommy stopped getting them for me. Maybe I just have not found my true love cause i don't think I would sit and chew for 4 hours!!

lots of licks,
lola.

Hi Lola,

I don't spend four hours chewing continuously. It takes me about four hours total to chew a 6" bully. I chew for about 30 minutes or so then stop and play for awhile then go back to chewing for another hour or so... you get the picture. Sometimes mom takes them away from us so we don't eat the whole thing too fast. She "rations" them cause they cost so much. But if she wants some peace and quiet she knows how to get it. Hey-hey.

Wags & wiggles,
Bjou

It probably wouldn't take me 4 hours - I'm a very aggressive chewer - It doesn't matter because I don't get anything like that anymore because I chew them up so fast and then my tiny little liver cannot process them and I get VERY VERY sick - last time I had to stay in the intensive care for 2 whole days and nights with needles in me. So - be careful with those bully sticks!

Gotta find something else to chew on
