She's Still Here

Mitzy hasn't gone home yet. We wear ourselves out playing, then sleep good all night long. Mom is happy about that but is getting annoyed cause we are tearing up all the stuffed toys. She has a big pile of critters that need to be repaired.

Here we are sitting at her feet begging for the return of our latest "victim" so we can finish killing it. No luck, she put it up on the shelf til she has time to do surgery on the poor thing.

All three of us Ratties fell for the "look at the camera" trick here. I should know better by now, but when I hear that squeaking little noise my ears perk right up.

Whenever Mitzy and I get to go outdoors we spend alot of time sniffing around. I am usually looking for rabbit poo but can't say what Mitzy is searching for.

We have a little snow on the ground which makes my feet cold and then I want to go in before I'm ready. It doesn't seem to bother Mitzy as much as it does me.

3 Ratties In The House!

After mom got home from work last night, there was a knock on the door. Of course I had to run and see who was there. Mom opened the door and in came my old pal Layla! I was so happy to see her, I jumped on her and started growling to let her know how excited I was. We then started chasing each other around the house just like old times.

These pictures were taken this afternoon cause mom didn't get the camera out last night. She said we were being to "rowdy". Whatever.

Here's Banjo trying to play too. He was scared of all the action and noise at first but soon wanted to join in. He thinks he is as big as us girls.

As you can see, Layla is now bigger than me. And she is much stronger, but I'm still faster. The family she now lives with gave her a new name. I guess they didn't like the one mom gave her. She is now called Mitzy.

Here is a picture of Banjo playing with Layla... I mean Mitzy. Mom sometimes calls me Missy, so I get confused and think she is calling me when she isn't.

Here Comes The Sun

We got to go outdoors and play again this afternoon and we didn't have to wear clothes! Banjo chased me around the yard but couldn't catch me cause he is too slow. We sniffed all the smells and chewed on sticks and stuff. It was so fun!

H
ere is baby brother standing on a rock that borders the flower bed. He looks sweet and adorable doesn't he? Ha, don't let that innocent face fool ya!

Here I am walking around the yard looking for rabbit poop. I love that stuff but mom hates it when I eat it. I have to sneak so she doesn't see me.

Banjo liked laying under the bench in the sun. He almost fell asleep. Mom woke him up when she took this picture. Look at my ball, it is almost as big as he is!

Don't I look cute in this picture? Baby brother doesn't cause he didn't look up at mom when she made that silly noise. He was looking at something on the ground instead.

Okay, my turn to look somewhere else. I heard mom make that silly noise to get our attention but I was interested in a bird that was sitting on the fence behind me. Banjo was tricked into looking at the camera though.

Look at the little rug rat. He was getting tired so we had to go back inside after mom took this picture. I hope we can go outside again tomorrow.

The Great Outdoors!

It warmed up enough today that mom said we could go out for a little while. I had to put on my sweater before she'd let me out the door though.

Baby brother had to get bundled up too. He wore one of my old t-shirts and sweater. Both were too big for him and he kept falling over when he tried to walk. It was sooo funny!

Here are some pictures of us sniffing around. Baby brother didn't know quite what to do with himself never having been outdoors before.

A Lazy Weekend

Saturday was so cold we didn't get to go anywhere. Mom didn't even go out except to get the mail out of the box down by the street. Banjo and me played and napped all day. Mom got out the camera and took some pictures of us so I could share them with you.

Banjo liked playing in the sunlight coming in through the window.

Baby brother is trying to jump up in my chair with me but he isn't big enough yet. I like teasing him with a toy he can't reach.

Here I am sitting pretty once again so mom can take my picture.

On Sunday we got to ride in the truck and go visiting cause it was a little warmer outside. I don't have any pictures of that though.

The First Week

It has been seven days since Banjo came to live with us. Mom is letting him sleep with us now. He likes to wrestle but gets kinda loud at times. Mom is happy cause he is using the litter box most of the time. Once in awhile he will forget or get lazy and potty in the floor. Mom says that will get better as he gets older.

We get to play more now that he isn't sleeping all the time. I have to be careful or mom will yell at me for being to rough. Sometimes I forget and jump on him to hard or run over him when he gets in the way. Here are some pictures of us playing.

Banjo Soup

Mom was busy in the kitchen the other night. I thought she was fixing something to eat. Then she came into the room where baby brother and me were playing. She picked Banjo up and carried him into the kitchen. Of course I followed to see what was going on.

She sat Banjo in a bowl and told him to stay there. Then she got the camera thingy and took lots of pictures of him. He sat still the whole time and didn't try to get out even once. I think he looks silly.

We Went Visting

The other day baby brother, who is now called Banjo, and I went with Mom to see those boys I like to play with. We had a great time even though Banjo wasn't feeling to well. Here are some pictures of us over at their house.

Nevermind the red eyes in these next two pictures. I am not a devil dog, despite what you might think!

My Daddy

Mom found a picture of my "sire", aka father, on the internet. Apparently he is a member of the "foundation stock" for the Rat Terrier breed. His name is BURZS OUJI and he is chocolate and white like me. Now you know where I get my big ears from!

I Have A Baby Brother!

He is very little. So tiny I keep getting in trouble for being to rough while playing with him. He is feisty and gets grouchy when I make him mad. Mom hasn't given him a name yet. I'm sure she will tell me what it is soon though.

He is using the litter box most of the time. And slept in the travel crate last night next to our bed without crying too much. Mom said he was a good boy.

T
hese pictures of the little fella were taken by the people he used to live with.
