A Winter Outing

The sun peeked out yesterday afternoon so mom took us out to play for a few minutes. It was kinda cold, but we were excited to be outside again.

What's with all this snow mom?
I thought you said it had melted.

Mom scooped a path to our patio so we could get out in our part of the yard for the first time in two months!

Me and the little brother waded out into the cold snow to sniff around.

I found a little patch of green grass.

And then this bigger patch.
It felt so good under my feets!

I had to do a zoomie cause I was so happy.

Banjo saw me running and took off too!

I smelled something interesting under the snow so I stuck my nose in to sniff around.

Banjo tried to stay out of the snow by walking around the edge of the yard.

Mom took this picture of a frosty burning bush the other morning.
It looks like the bush is covered in thorns.

Awhile back my mom bought this brush to clean Banjo's toofers. She got the smallest one they had but it is still too big for his mouth. So if any doggy needs a toof brush, let my mom know your address and she will mail you this one.

Bijou, I love the new pic in your header, you look so contemplative in it, were you daydreaming of warmer days??

Toothbrush......hate those things! Mom got the bright idea one time to try that on me and Brother, but we plotted together and made toothbrushing time so miserable that Mom gave up.....yay for us!! (Don't worry, she's found other ways to take care of our teeth!)

I can't believe you still have so much snow. Must have been super exciting to see a little grass!

I like the snow, it is all gone from my yard and everything is mushy and brown. I wish I had snow or green grass. I like your new picture ........ you are very pretty, you know, for a girl and all that!

Tell mom to look into the finger-brushes for Banjo. It's a little thing that you put on your finger and it's got nubby things on it for cleaning teeth!

Bijou and Banjo are very brave to venture out into the white stuff. Sending you warm weather from Texas!

We have the same problem... little captain's mouth is so small we can't get in the back to clean his toofers! If you figure out a good brush sometime let us know... we will do the same if we find one that works!

We've had a thaw here, our grass is showing too!! Looks like it's going to be a while longer for you there. Can't say I blame Banjo for going 'round the edges! Maybe he needs some Pawz!!

Yikes, keep that green brushy thingy for yourself (but thank you very much for the offer). It's bigger than my head. Lovely of you to share a nice outing.

Boy you pupsters really got hit with the snow...all of ours has melted away. I am glad to feel the grass again too. Banjo had a good idea walking by the fence, it was probably warmer.

Love the pic of the frosty bush. We don't get that kind of frost here in SC.
Peace out,

Hi Bijou! I've never touched real snow, just seen it in the movies! I get so cold very easily that I would probably faint from the freightful cold! I would be like Banjo, hopping along the side wall, or maybe like spidey attempting to climb the side wall! Bol!

I despise tooffy brushes!!! Mom discovered the one that slips onto her finger. Since I'm such a drama princess, I always try and make myself gag hoping she would cease the moment - I never works!

Stay warm and snuggly!

Hugs & smooches xoxo

Your snow is lasting such a long time, no wonder you are fed up with it.
At least you got a little play and run around, that looks like fun.
Aghhh, we hate getting our teefs brushed and always try our best to bite Mum's fingers off, bol.

Was that photo of the bush taken when we had "frozen fog"? Did you guys get that too? Weird, huh? I'm so happy you were able to get outside and find some green grass. Bij, you are one brave girl, running in the snow like that. I was really impressed when you stuck your snooter deep in the snow...so deep it covered your pretty eyes. I absolutely love your new header photo!
