Hi furiends, my mom wanted me to share this purdy flower with you. She says it is called a Balloon Flower and if you look at the picture below you will see why.
I'm told this flower is a very purdy "sky blue" but since us doggies can't see most colors I guess you will have to take my word for that. BOL
Here is a picture of me and Banjo relaxing on the futon swing last night.
Banjo had to go see the VET this morning. He has been sneezing his little head off and had a snotty nose all week. Mom thought he caught a cold but last night he had a fever and then this morning he puked on mom's pillow! The doctor gave him TWO shots in his scrawny chicken neck and he can't have any food or water til tomorrow. If he does not feel better in the morning he will have to go see the doctor again and give her some blood to test.
Don't feel too sorry for the runt though cause he is getting lots of smoochies & snuggles from our mom and is enjoying the extra attention. Don't tell my mom I told you this... but I think he just might be faking it!

Too bad about Banjo. I don't think you can really fake a fever and puking so if I was you, I'd steer clear of him for awhile in case it's contagious. Hope he's feeling better soon.
Okay we felt sorry for little runt but we are over it now. You guys are adorable laying on your swing. Thank you for showing us the purrty flower.

The Old Guy is the groundskeeper... kind of a hobby of his. Our neighbors on the other hand don't do ANYthing & it drives him crazy. Hope you don't get the sickies... I've had a gunky eye all week. I let my assistant put in drops for a few days, but decided today that I'd had enough... won't let her come near me BOL. She keeps trying to tempt me with treats, but I've stood my ground so far. Do you know if it's dinner time yet??

Hey Bij! Tell your mom that flower is beautiful! My mom said it is a lovely color of blue (which is her favorite color) and very interesting. I love it when you talk about Banjo's "scrawny chicken neck". It makes me BOL every time! I hope he is faking it because it is no fun being sick. I've missed you this summer but I know you are busy.
