Pupsicles!

Mom had today off from work because of the blizzard. We got about 10 inches of snow and at times the wind blew about 50 mph. so that snow was blown into big piles by morning. It was almost 10 am before mom went out to shovel the walks. Me and Banjo thought we had to go out with her. That didn't last long! BOL

Everything under the covered
patio was dusted with snow.

The high temp for the day was a whopping 10 degrees!

The fish pond was buried under a pile of snow.
Good thing mom had put the cover on last week.

As soon as mom opened the door I ran out into the deep snow. It didn't take me but a second to come running back. Hey! My belly was cold!

Here we are, just a minute after being let out,
begging to be let back in. We decided to watch out the window as mom scooped the walks. When she came in, we "helped" her pull off her snow coverd boots and played with the snow that fell on the floor. BOL

Recipe for Pupsicles

1 banana
1/2 c peanut butter
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup chopped peanuts

Mash banana. Stir in pb, wheat germ and nuts.
Chill for one hour in fridge.
Spoon into ice cube tray, press firmly.
Store in freezer til ready to serve.

Hey Bijou,

Wow! You pups got a lot of snow! We got about 3 inches and it was very messy. I made mom go out and make me a hole in the snow in the backyard so I could go potty, otherwise I wanted nothing to do with that wet stuff! Mom told me to tell you that she is in love with your background on your bloggie blog!

OMD Bijou, you guys got a blizzard!!! I only got the really cold at my house. I am sort of getting used to it but Mom left me at home with Dad because SHE didn't want to take me outside at her work to go potty. I want to try those pupsicles.

Oh my goodness you gots lots of snow! We got several inches here too and my chi's are hating it. When I let them out, they won't move past the door. Poor little things!

Those pupsicles sound yummy, I'm gonna write down the recipe and maybe I'll make them for my little ones sometime! Thanks for sharing.

Oh how some of us here would love that much snow - you can keep the super cold up north, it is bad enough here already:) We don't blame you for supervising from inside.

Loved your Wednesday photos. We would love to pull a sled too.

I can't believe you were out there naked in that deep snow. It is a good thing your legs are long or your Momma might never have found you.
