Yesterday we were playing in the house when all of a sudden I noticed something wonderful. The sun was shining! I got so excited I jumped on the back of the couch and started barking out the window. Mom thought someone must be out front so she came to see who it was and got annoyed when no one was there. I kept barking and zooming around the house like a nut and even though she is slow sometimes, our mom finally understood what I was trying to tell her.
"THE SUN IS HERE! LET'S GO OUTSIDE!!"

So mom bundled us up in our winter coats and decided we could go out in the back alley, which we NEVER get to do, while she scooped the driveway for exercise. (She is getting fat and lazy.)

OMD that is my Mommys favorite song! This post just made her smile so big! That song was something she used to sing to her guinea pig (my brother who I only knew for a short while)

So glad the sun came out for you and Banjo!! It's been raining adn gloomy here... but we can't complain, no snow here. Captain did get hand me down rain coat from his cousin Chico who is too big for it.... we will have to take some photos and share!

Woohooo!! That looks like fun! No wonder mom let you out in the alley - the snow is up to your eyeballs so there's no way you'd go anywhere (at least not very fast!!!). Hope you are all thawed out now!

We don't have as much snow as you do, but the wind.... Oh, it scares me! It blows so hard I think it might lift me up and take me away!! We only stay outside long enough to do our business. I think it is so funny when Gramma says that!
