Howloween Hangover

Hi Furiends,

Yesterday we spent the day playing outside while mom worked on her flower beds. Mom was to lazy to get the camera out so I don't have any pictures to show of that so you get one more look at me and Banjo with our Howloween loot.

It took mom all afternoon to get the work done so we didn't get to go on a walkie. But Mom let us ride along when she went to dump the leaves and then we stopped at our uncle's house and we got to play with Radar for a little while.

It was a beautiful sunny day and very warm for the 1st of November. Mom said the temperature reached 76! I hope we have a bunch more days like that. Mom heard on the tellyvision that this past October was the 2nd coldest ever for our part of the country. And us Ratties don't like cold weather much!

Have any of you doggies ever played in a big pile of leaves and made your hooman mad cause they just got them raked up and you came along and scattered them all over again?

I did.

BOL

Bijou!!! The pile of leaves sounds fun! We don't have many leaves this year... we have one tree outside our patio that is turning colors, but not many on the ground. I think they would relish playing in a pile!

Our hoomans put us in a pile of leaves on purpose...we didn't like it. But if you do be our guest and you can jump in our leaves!

Playing in a big pile of leaves sounds fun. I can just imagine the rustling of the leaves as we dig into them but we don't have that and I am sure the humans would not let us out even if we have.

Marge has never played in leaves! I wonder if she'd enjoy running through a big pile. Maybe I'll find out sometime.

I love the leaves laying around...they smell sooooooooooo good. Ours are kind of wet right now from the snow, but they will dry out soon. Sounds like you guys had lots of fun. Nice warm day too...how lucky are you.
