Hi Furiends,
Not much going on here today. It is has been raining since the sun came up. Me and Banjo went out a couple of times and played in the rain. We'll probably be kinda scarce the next few days. Mom's heart is broken, so she is wandering aimlessly around the house. We were suppose to leave on vacation in the morning but now we're not. I hope you all have a great holiday weekend. Please take special care if you are going to be out traveling.

Bijou and Banjo - you tell your mom to remember what my mom told her last night! Then give her lots of licks and snuggles. Maybe bite her ankles for a bit - that will distract her. We're having a break in the HOT weather - it's only in the 80's - we're all going to the symphony tonite - but we're going to avoid the fireworks afterwards just in case I don't like them. Mom has packed up a powerful picnic - and I'm hoping maybe they will share some of the good stuff with me since it''s a special occasion!

Oh Bijou, we are so sorry you aren't able to go on your vacation. We totally know how you feel. We may not be going on our upcoming vacation either. Our mom is upset about it as well. Hopefully you can reschedule for another weekend.
