Sunday's Featured Doggies

Dogs have given us their absolute all. We are the center of their universe. We are the focus of their love and faith and trust. They serve us in return for scraps. It is without a doubt the best deal man has ever made. ~Roger Caras

If you don't live near these good dogs, you might find your next true love at your local animal shelter.

Minnie is a five year old, blind Rat Terrier. She is a very loving, gentle girl. Minnie loves to be held on her back like a baby as this makes her feel secure. Once she is familiar with her surroundings, you would never know she is unable to see. Minnie is located in Stuarts Draft, Virginia.

Memphis is a 14 month old purebred Rat Terrier who was turned in to the shelter by the breeder because she had demodex mange. This is the non-contagious, stress induced type and she is responding well to treatment. Memphis is affectionate and quiet. She is content playing by herself, but loves playing with other dogs and does not chase cats. She is located in North Augusta, South Carolina.

Hondo is a six month old Rat Terrier/Blue Heeler mix. He gets along with other dogs. Hondo, like most Rat Terriers, is smart and active so will need lots of toys and walks to keep him busy. He is located in Henrietta, Texas.
