Happy Birthday To Me

I am one year old today. Mom sang the 'happy birthday song' to me this morning when we were still in bed, that's how I knew. I don't know where the year has gone. Seems like just yesterday I was coming into this world.



The first nine weeks that I spent with my doggy mom and siblings were nice, but the past ten months have been great. I got to play with my toys and go bye-bye in the truck and take walks around the neighborhood. I get to play outside when it's nice and chase that mean squirrel out of the yard. I love laying out in the sun, I hope I can do that again soon. We even went on two trips this year and stayed in a motel. That was fun!



Since today was special, but to cold to go anywhere, Mom gave me a treat as my b-day surprise. I have spent most of the afternoon chewing on it. I think she was trying to make me forget about that bath she gave me this morning.

In The Deep Freeze!

Well I haven't been outside much lately cause it has turned cold. I am getting bored playing with the same old toys. I have nearly de-fuzzed my tennis ball and de-stuffed all my critters. Mom has to get busy and do surgery on them or buy me some new ones!

She bought me this sweater not long ago and has been making me wear it in the house during the daytime to keep me from shivering. She likes the green color but I think it makes me look like a frog! Oh well.... Ribbit.

She's Back!

Last night mom left the house and came back a short while later with Layla. I guess something happened at her house so she needs to stay with us for a few days. As soon as we saw each other, we started wrestling and racing around the house. We got to stay up and play til 11:30, then mom made us go to bed.

Today we have been playing tug-o-war and chasing each other around the house. We wore ourselves out and needed a long nap. Here's a couple pictures that mom took of us.
